Dear friends,

Tom Groover, an NCRN and COCRN Board member, along with his wife Karen recently lost everything in the Boulder County Colorado Marshall Fire that started on December 30, 2021. Tom has been on the Board of NCRN since its inception in 2014-2015.

I initially spoke with Tom on Sunday January 2nd and then briefly today. Other than sore throats from the smoke, their physical health is good. We can only imagine the emotional stress of having to escape your home with only the clothes on your back and then the reality of total material loss.

Thankfully their son and daughter-in-law live in the area and they are currently staying with them. Tom is grateful.

This message is a call for those wishing to make a donation as a gesture of kindness and solidarity to Tom and Karen from our Community Rights Family (State CRN Board members, CELDF staff and other CR friends).

If you wish to donate, you can either send me your donation through my PayPal (Susan Beiersdorfer yogayoungstown@gmail.com) or send a check to me.

My address is:
Susan Beiersdorfer
359 Bradley Lane
Youngstown, OH 44504

When you donate, I will acknowledge receipt of your donation, keep track and then send a card and check for the total amount gathered next Monday afternoon January 17, 2022.

Whether you donate or not, if you would like to send a message to Tom and Karen, I will compile well-wishes into a Word doc to print and send with the card.

In Solidarity!
Peace,
Susie Beiersdorfer
NCRN and OHCRN Board member
