The School of Social Work and the Learning Institute at Millersville University are co-sponsoring the Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund’s (CELDF) Pennsylvania community organizer Chad Nicholson to present a workshop on the growing Community Rights movement. Learn what you can do to protect your community from harm!
CELDF is working with communities across the country, statewide Community Rights Networks, and international partners to build a movement for Community Rights and the Rights of Nature. Together, they are advancing democratic, economic, social, and environmental rights. CELDF is building upward from the grassroots to the state, federal, and international level. Their mission: to build sustainable communities by assisting people to assert their right to local self-government and the rights of nature.
