Since 2007, CELDF has been partnering with local community groups and organizations in Washington, teaching Democracy Schools and assisting community members to initiate rights-based organizing across the state.  From Spokane to Seattle, and Anacortes to Bellingham, citizens are driving grass-roots organizing campaigns to drive into law the rights to local self-governance and sustainable communities, the rights of workers, and the Rights of Nature.
