Residents in Boulder, CO, and across the state, are threatened with oil and gas extraction – including fracking. They are partnering with the Colorado Community Rights Network and CELDF to stop the devastation to their communities and their state. As part of their work, residents and COCRN are hosting CELDF’s Democracy School – a stimulating and illuminating course that teaches residents and activists how to reframe exhausting and often discouraging single issue work (such as opposing fossil fuel extraction, fracking, GMOs, etc.) in a way that we can confront corporate control and state preemption on a powerful single front: people’s inalienable rights.
